Atokan drilling supplies tri-cone drill bits from one of the industries smallest sizes 1 5/16 to 36 inches in size. Our tri-cones can be customized with different protections around the legs and gauge to increase better steer ability and back reaming capability.
Our Rock Bits are precisely balanced according to tooth pattern, bearing angle, cone offset to provide high penetration rates at low or high speeds. Seal and bearing are compatible for motor or conventional drilling.Tooth design is maximum offset and length action, along with interrupted row patterns to prevent formation packing between teeth, that creates a gouging, twisting, tearing improving the cleaning of the bit by the drilling fluid. For greater wear resistance a tungsten carbide hard facing is applied to critical areas of the teeth, providing a better chipping and crushing action.
For special applications steel tooth cone back faces can be additionally protected with tungsten carbide inserts. Call us for your specific needs and applications.
